Craciun Fericit! / Merry Christmas!

Dragii mei, azi doar o poza cu mine si cu sotul meu si cu bradutul pe care l-am impodobit aseara. Va doresc BUCURIE MULTA si PACE si IUBIRE si SANATATE. Va pup si va imbratisez cu drag si va multumesc ca impartasiti cu noi toti munca voastra si va multumesc pentru vizitele pe care mi le faceti pe blog. Si Iisus sa ne incalzeasca inimile.

Quilling angel / Inger quilling 3D

Craciunul e imediat aici! Peste tot e o atmosfera speciala, oameni foarte ocupati, dar bucurosi si, peste tot decorul meu preferat - case cu luminite!!! Asa de mult imi plac! Ne-am pus si noi lumini la geamuri!
Si pentru ca toate luminitele sunt un fel de replici ale stelelor, tot dintre stele vine si ingerul pe care vi-l prezint azi.

Christmas is almost here! A lot of joy all around, busy but happy people and, my favourite decor - the houses decorated with lights! Just love it!
And because those little lights are replicas of the stars, here comes from the stars comes the angel I`m showing you today.

Fulgi quilling / Quilling snowflakes

Iata si ultima zi cu fulgi. Desi am spus ca vor fi 5 zile cu felicitari am decis sa inchei cu aceste minunatii pe care le-am facut in octombrie. Imi place atat de mult poza si mi-a placut atat de mult sa lucrez la ei incat chiar nu ma pot abtine sa nu va arat si voua. Asadar acum inchei maratonul de 10 zile cu fulgi. Urmeaza alte minunatii de Craciun. Si deja gandul ma duce la indepartata primavara... Dar mai este pana atunci!

Here is, finaly, the last day from the ones dedicated to snoflakes. Even if I said there will be 5 days with cards I decided to show you these beauties. I love them soooo much, I have no words to describe how much. So this is day number 10 with snowflakes. But will come other beauties from the Christmas collection.

Felicitare cu fulgi quilling / Quilling snowflakes card

Stiu, uneori ce-i prea mult e prea mult. Dar am promis 10 zile cu fulgi si vreau sa ma tin de cuvant. Felicitarile acestea doua fac parte dintre preferatele mele de anul acesta - imi plac culorile, imi place forma si designul si mai imi place si hartia albastra cu aspect perlat. Stiu ca e zapada peste tot acum, dar nu ma simt vinovata, toti facem fulgi in perioada aceasta, nu? Adica nu cred ca fulgii mei au adus ninsoarea.

I know, too much is too much! But I promised 10 days of projects that include snowflakes so I want to keep my word. These cards are from my favorite - I love the colors, the shape, the design and also the pearlescent blue paper. Our country is covered with snow but I do not feel gulty, we all make snowflakes around Christmas!

Quilling snowflakes - day number 8

Hi there! I almost lost the number of these snowflakes days... After thinking a little bit I knew it`s number 8. This is an unusual combo - pink and turquoise for Christmas! But I thought why not?!If they are not gona sell I`ll keep them for the next year :D

I had my first quilling workshop today. It was special - I love teaching others and I love being with them and love to see what they make and how different they are and so on. My family asked why I`m doing this, I should keep this for myself, people will copy you and will compete with you. Well, first I had no idea about why I`m doing this, than I realised I just want to do this so bad - exactly how I wanted to try quilling - so why should there be a reason for everything we do? Now I have a lot of reasons but just beacuse I want to is the best reason.

Salut, salut! Mai ca am pierdut numaratoarea zilelor cu fulgi. Dupa ce m-am gandit un pic mi-am amintit ca e numarul 8. O combinatie neobisnuita - roz si turquoise pentru Craciun! Dar mi-am zis ca de ce nu? Daca nu se vand le pastrez pentru anul viitor :D

Azi am tinut primul atelier de quilling. A fost deosebit - imi place sa-i invat pe altii, imi place sa vad ce le iese, imi place sa fiu cu oamenii, imi place sa vad cat sunt de diferiti si asa mai departe. Familia m-a intrebat ca de ce vreau sa-i invat si pe altii? Ca ar trebui sa tin secret pentru mine, ca oamenii vor dori sa ma copieze. De fapt la inceput habar n-am avut de ce vreau sa fac asta, apoi mi-am dat seama ca imi doresc foarte tare - exact cum am vrut sa fac quilling - asa ca de ce ar trebui sa fie mereu un motiv serios pentru ceea ce facem? Acum am o multime de motive, dar pentru ca asa vreau eu este cel mai bun motiv.

Felicitari All White / All White Cards

A very special day today! St. Nicholas brought in my shoes me a Sabon cream with lavender and roses. And other beautiful gifts. Also a snowy day.
So here are these cards I made some weeks ago. My mother in law helped - she did the snowflakes. A good teacher (me :D) and a good student (she).
I`m curious to see if people will love these cards (and buy them) beacuse I love so very much this delicate design, also the combination white on (almost) white. The paper is more likely silver than white, it looks like silk.

O zi speciala azi! Mos Nicolae mi-a adus o crema Sabon cu lavanda si trandafiri. Alte daruri minunate. Si o zi cu ninsoare. Asa ca iata niste felicitari pe care le-am facut acum cateva saptamani, in acelasi sentiment al albului. Soacra mea m-a ajutat - ea a facut fulgii. Un profesor bun (eu) combinat cu un elev bun (ea).
Sunt curioasa daca oamenilor le vor placea aceste felicitari si daca le vor cumpara. Mie imi plac foarte, foarte mult - imi place designul si imi place combinatia alb pe alb (aproape alb pentru ca hartia are nuante argintii, arata ca matasea).

Felicitari de iarna handmade / Handmade winter cards

Buun. Pana acum am avut 5 zile cu fulgi liberi. Acum urmeaza 5 zile cu felicitari cu fulgi. O sa incep cu preferatele mele, tot fulgi albastri, designul meu - adica i-am creat din minte, nu am urmat o poza de pe net sau asa ceva. Asta nu inseamna ca altcineva, intr-un alt colt de lume nu ar fi putut crea ceva asemanator, sau chiar identic.
Sunt frumoase si delicate si mai ales imi place forma aceasta dreptunghiulara care se deschide pe orizontala.
Si imi mai place foarte tare fulgul mai mare care e cumva fragil ca si firisoarele de gheata.

Sooo... 5 days with free quilled snowflakes. From now on 5 cards with quilled snowflakes. I`ll begin with my favorite ones, blue snowflakes, again, my design - meaning that I`ve made them by myself, without looking on the internet for these 2 designs. I know it is possible that someone else from this huge world had the same idea.
The cards are beautiful and delicate and I love this rectangular, horizontal shape.
I also love very much the bigger snowflake that looks somehow like fragile ice.

Ghirlanda din fulgi quilling / Quilled snowflakes garland

Here I am my dears, a little bit later with the 5th post. I`ll be short since it`s Sunday, we have guests and I have to finish an order so that I cand send it tomorrow morning.
For today, a garland I made from quilled snowflakes. I`ve put it on a tree. It can be used in many other ways to make your house brigther and prettier.

Iata-ma dragilor, din nou, un pic mai tarziu decat ar fi trebuit, cu postarea numarul 5. E o ghirlanda pe care am facut-o din fulgi quilling. Am pus-o in bradutul din curtea noastra, pentru poze. Dar poate fi folosita in multe feluri ca sa infrumuseteze si lumineze casuta in care se afla. De exemplu am agatat-o la geam (avem un geam fara perdele) si arata atat de bine!!!

Va imbratisez si LA MULTI ANI!!! de ziua noastra, a Romanilor!

Green (!) quilled snowflake / Un fulg quilling verde

Azi a fost prima zi cand am ascultat cantece de iarna (in engleza, de aceea nu le spun colinde). Si cumva incep sa simt cu adevarat ca se apropie Craciunul, ca va ninge si va fi tot mai frig. Si am inceput sa ma gandesc la bradut. Chiar daca am pregatit lucrusoare de Craciun nu am simtit spiritul. Azi a fost prima zi cu spirit :) (de Craciun, pentru ca SPIRIT este mereu in toate si in tot ce fac).

Am ales un fulg verde. E foarte socant, dar mi-am dorit eu sa incerc si unul verde sa vad cum arata. Cam singuratic saracutul si prea fantezist. Am zis ca sa vi-l arat ca e totusi simpatic.

Today, while working, I was listening to some Christmas songs. The first time for this Christmas season. And I felt that special something that appears when winter comes and Christmas is closer. Today I enetered the spirit (the spirit of Christmas beacuse the SPIRIT is everywhere around, in anything I do, always in my life).

For today a green snowflake. Quite shocking but I wanted to try and see one on green. Also quite lonely poor little one. But I told myself why not make him public since it`s cute enough.

Fulgi quilling albi / White quilling snowflakes

Iata si ziua 3 din maratonul de 10 zile cu fulgi. 10 zile alternativ, adica o zi da si una nu. Pentru azi am ales fulgii albi. Sunt clasici si inconfundabili. Ma gandeam ca as putea face fulgi tot anul... As avea oare unde sa vand atatia?! Cine stie?

Imi place sa cred ca modelul din poza aceasta l-am creat eu. Dar cu fulgii niciodata nu poti fi sigur! Fie descoperi ca mai erau modele ca si ale tale, chiar daca le-ai creat fara inspiratie... fie peste un devin atat de populari ca nu mai stii de unde au pornit.

Here is day 3 from the marathon of 10 days with snowflakes. 10 days meaning one day I post, one day I take a break. And after that I post again. Classic white quilled snowflakes for today. Sometimes I believe I could make snowflakes during the entire yaer... But where could I sell so many snowflakes?! Who knows?

I like to believe that the one from the first picture is my own design. But you can never know with quilled snowflakes! Sooner or later you`ll discover that long time ago your design was famous before you even imagine it... or they become so pupular that no one knows where they started.

Blue quilling snowflakes / Fulgi de Craciun albastri

Buun... Sa zicem ca trebuia sa postez mai repede ca sa ma incadrez in ziua de ieri. Daar... a fost duminica! Si ne-am dat cu bicicletele si n-am reusit decat acum sa ma asez cateva clipe ca sa scriu.

Am ales fulgii albastri. Imi place asa de mult cum arata pe lemnul acela gri, cumva invechit. Cu cat lucrez mai mult cu atat imi apare mai clar stilul meu - cumva vintage-rustic-shabby chic.

Am facut acesti fulgi din fasii de 3mm, lungi de 30 cm si am folosit diferite nuante de albastru. Arata asa de dragut toti, la gramada :)

Well... Let`s say that I had to post this earlier, it`s already Monday here. But it was a sunny Sunday today!

I choose these blue quilled snowflakes for today. I love the way they look on that grey wood. The more I work, the more I feel my stile - somehow vintage, rustic, shabby chic.

I used 3mm strips, 30 cm long in different shades of blue. They look so cute, all together :)

Fulgi quilling / Quilling snowflakes

Iata inevitabilul! Asa cum va spuneam in ultimul meu post, am inceput sa lucrez la fulgi inca de la inceputul lui octombrie. Astazi va prezint un produs pe care l-am pregatit special pentru anul acesta, un set de 3 fulgi intr-o cutie patrata cu mesajul ~believe~. Fulgii sunt bej, cu un aspect perlat si cand sunt in lumina stralucesc cumva discret si special.


Designul lor este destul de simplu, m-am inspirat de pe net, dar le-am adus si modificari personale.

Imi placea sa de mult sa fac fulgi quilling si mai nou mama sotului meu s-a pricopsit cu aceeasi pasiune. ARe 60 de ani si pana acum ma ajuta la cerculete, dar intr-o zi a vrut sa faca fulgii in intregime si i-au iesit perfect! Va voi arata fulgii pe care i-a facut ea intr-un alt post.

S-au adunat destul de multe proiecte cu fulgi anul acesta asa ca ma gandesc sa fac un maraton de 10 zile cu proiecte cu fulgi. Ce ziceti? Tot a doua zi voi posta ceva cu fulgi quilling. Ideea asta mi-a venit tocmai acum si mi-a zis ca de ce sa nu o transform in realitate?

The inevitable is here! As I told you in the last post, I started working on snowflakes since the beginning of october. Here is a special product I made for this year, a set of 3 snowflakes in box with a believe tag. The snowflakes are not white, they have a pearlescent beige color and when in light they glow.

The snowflakes designs are quite simple, nothing too innovative, some ideas from the internet but also a personal touch.

I enjoy making quilling snowflakes and now my mother in law does too. She`s 60 years old and used to help me with the coils, but one day she wanted to make her own snowflakes and the came out so perfect. I`ll show you her work in another post.


I have so many snowflakes projects this year so I decided to make a 10 days marathon dedicated to snowflakes. What do you think? Every two days I`ll post something with my quilled snowflakes. I had this idea right now and want to make it real.

Ornamente de Craciun / Paper Christmas ornaments

I believe we all have noticed that Christmas is closer and closer. I started working on Christmas things even from october but I helped myself from posting them since I wanted to enjoy the autumn. But there`s no way back! Winter is almost here and Christmas is coming!
Here are some little trees I`ve made from paper strips, my first attempt, from the first days of Christmas creations when I had time to experiment.

Cred ca am remarcat cu totii ca iarna si Craciunul sunt tot mai aproape. Am inceput sa lucrez la lucruri de Craciun inca din octombrie, dar m-am abtinut din a le posta pentru ca vroiam sa ma bucur de toamna. Dar de-acum nu mai este cale de intoarcere! Iarna mai ca bate la usa si vine Craciunul!
Iata niste braduti pe care i-am facut din fasii de hartie, sunt prima mea incercare, din primele zile in care am facut lucrusoare de Craciun, cand inca mai aveam timp de experimentat.

If you want to try these, put the thread first and glue on the inside only after. I believe it took me an half an hour to put that thread!
Aren`t they beautiful?! So dreamy... like coming from another world. The world of paper.

Daca vreti sa incercati si voi, va sfatuiesc sa puneti ata inainte de a da cu lipici pe interior. Cred ca mi-a luat vreo jumate de ora ca sa pun sforicica aceea. Doar una. Pentru restul n-am mai incercat.
Nu-i asa ca sunt draguti?! Asa de visatori... parca ar veni dintr-o alta lume. Lumea hartiei.

Quilling jewelry / Bijuterie quilling

Quilling jewelry have something truly special. I always wanted to try but I`ve never found my way in this field. This was a gift for my sister in law and she felt in love with it. Still looking for that perfect outfit to make this quilled jewel even more precious.

Bijuteriile quilling au ceva special si intotdeauna am vrut sa incerc, dar cumva nu mi-am gasit drumul. Medalionul acesta a fost un cadou pentru cumnata mea si i-a placut enorm/ Eu inca mai caut o tinuta ca sa-l pun in valoare.

I wanted to try that brass teardrop shape even from the first moment I saw it! I imagined the tight quilling teardrop shapes and in the end I used some bronze varnish.

Inca de cand am vazut medalionul in forma de lacrima mi-am imaginat niste forme quilling stranse, tot in forma de lacrima. AM dat cu niste vopsea bronze si tadaaa!

It has a special look, don`t know yet how to define it.
Are un aer special, dar nu stiu inca exact cum sa-l definesc.
