Quilling framed flowers / Tablou cu flori quilling

My dear friends, I`m still here and thinking of you. My last post was more than a month ago so I appologize and I hope it won`t happen again. Even my husband is asking if ~Why don`t you put something on the blog?~ :)))
 Dragii mei, sunt tot aici chiar daca nu am dat semne de viata de mai bine de o luna. Asa ca iertati-ma si sper sa nu se mai repete. Pana si sotul meu ma intreaba ~De ce nu mai pui ceva pe blog?!~ :)))

So here is this work I did and which looks amazing in reality, much better than in the pictures. I`m never satisfied with my pictures! I should get a better camera or call a profesionist...
Asa ca iata ce iata o lucrare care arata mult mai binein realitate decat in poze. Niciodata nu am fost multumita in totalitate de pozele pe care le fac asa ca fie imi iau un aparat nou, fie trebuie sa chem un profesionist...

 

  

I started to make these flowers thinking at the apple tree blossom. Now they look more like raspberry flowers... Who can tell?
Am inceput sa fac florile acestea gandindu-ma la florile de mar. Acum mi se pare ca arata mai mult a flori de capsuni... Cine poate spune cu exactitate?

I promiss to post more often, lately I did sunflowers all the time :)
Promit sa postez mai des, in general flori de soare am mesterit in ultima vreme :)

Wedding cake invitation / Invitatie de nunta cu tort

Salutare :) Imi dau seama ca folosesc in ultima vreme prea mult cuvantul nunta, dar imi plac atat de mult toate creatiile pentru nunti incat nu pot sa nu-mi imaginez aceste felicitari cu tort sub forma unor invitatii de nunta. E drept ca domeniul nuntilor reprezinta o intreaga industrie, dar ca si Craciunul, e ceva atat de frumos!!!

Hello there :) I realize that I use quite a lot the word wedding lately, but I just adore all the beatiful things that are created around this event, so that it`s imposible for me to avoid the comparison between these cards and weddin invitations. It`s true that an entire industry was created around weddings, but, like Christmas, it`s sooo beautiful!!!

Iata minunatiile pe care le-am creat. Adica o parte din ele pentru ca am facut aproape 40 - jumate cu vanilie si jumate cu ciocolata.

Here are the beaties I created. I mean a part of them since I`ve made almost 40 cards - half with a vanilla cake and half with chocolate cake.

As face anumite modificari ca sa fie potrivite pentru invitatii de nunta, dar ideea mi se pare super de tot ca si simbol.

I would change some things to make them look like wedding invitations, but the cake theme seems so great for a wedding invitation.

Cherry blossom - Work in progress

It`s March 26, my tulips wait to blossom... yet everywhere you look it`s just SNOW. I usualy take the weather exactly the way it is, without complaining, only that what`s enough it`s enough. Where are you SPRING?

Here is my little cherry tree, work in progress, as nothing is glued together. I only arranged them to see how everything looks. I thought you have to see it :)

 

E 26 martie si lalelele asteapta in gradina sa infloreasca. Totusi, peste tot in jur este numai ZAPADA. De obicei iau vremea asa cum este ea, fara sa ma plang, numai ca uneori ce e destul e destul. Unde esti tu PRIMAVARA?

Iata aici copacelul meu cu flori de cires, pe masura ce lucrez la el. Nimic nu este lipit, le-am aranjat doar sa vad cum arata si am zis ca sa vi-l arat si voua :)

Sunflower wedding invitation - brown / Invitatii cu floarea soarelui maro

It`s spring outside, yet I work on sunflower wedding invitations. I`ve sent a package this week to a client from Hungary and she was so happy to see them that almost made me cry with her beautiful words. She said they are even more beautiful in reality than in pictures.

Stiu ca este primavara, eu lucrez intens la invitatii cu floarea soarelui. Si imi place si sunt bucuroasa. Tocmai am trimis spre Ungaria un colet si clienta mi-a scris despre cat de extrem de multumita si fericita este. 

Imi venea sa plang de fericire. 

Spunea ca sunt si mai frumoase decat in poze si ca totul e exact cum si-au imaginat.

The sunflower album is a gift I`ve sent, I believe it fits perfect as a gusetbook for a wonderful wedding.

Albumul cu floarea soarelui l-am trimis ca si cadou si cred ca se potriveste foarte bine ca si album de impresii.

This is a design I`ve made some time ago and I love it so much. These days i`ve been working to some new designs on the same colors. Now, I want to try something on emerald green since it`s the color of the year. 

I just love the idea of a color for every year.

Este un model care imi place foarte mult. Zilele acestea am creat ceva nou pe aceleasi culori. Imi doresc sa incerc ceva si pe verde smarald daca tot e culoarea anului. 

Chiar imi place ideea aceasta de a exista o culoare a anului.

Women day flowers / Flori de ziua femeii

Long live all the women! We celebrate women today and it`s a beautiful way of saying welcome to spring!

La Multi Ani! tuturor femeilor! Sarbatorim ziua femeii azi si cred ca e o ocazie atat de frumoasa sa-i uram primaverii Bun venit!

While preparing the flowers for the spring cards I thought it would be great to gather them all and take some pictures. This is how I got to make this tiny bouquet. 

In timp ce pregateam florile pentru felicitarile de anul acesta m-am gandit ca ce bine ar arata sa le adun intr-un buchet si sa le fac niste poze. Asa am ajuns sa fac acest buchetel.

I always thought this type of flowers look like rosebuds. 

Other ideas? 

Intotdeauna am avut impresia ca florile acestea arata ca niste boboci de trandafir.

Mai aveti si alte idei cu ce flori ar semana?

Paper snowdrop bouquet

Mai este doar o saptamana pana la Martisorul nostru drag. E o zi speciala pentru mine. Intotdeauna imi aminteste de copilarie. Imi aminteste de ghiocei si de plimbarile cu tata prin padure, in cautarea lor. Si mai ales ziua de 1 Martie imi aminteste de prima zi din viata mea cand am avut o stare eterica, imi aminteste de o prima zi in care am simtit ca este ceva special in aer... O stare de bine inexplicabila. Nu eram indragostita. Abia ce ajunsesem acasa de la scoala, eram singura, aveam vreo 10 ani si dintr-o data m-a cuprins o stare de bucurie. Venise de nicaieri. Imi face asa de bine sa-mi amintesc acea stare, iar cand vine martisorul parca imi e si mai accesibila.


One week separates us from the 1st of March. Such a special day, always reminds me of childhood. It reminds about snowdrops and walks in the forest with my father. And most of all that day reminds me about the first day I felt something special was in the air... My first good, special mood. I`ve got home from school, I was alone, the sun was stronger and I felt something like a huge happiness. No, I wasn`t in love. That mood striked me (in a good sense) because it came from nowhere and had no real reason. I was around 10. It was special. And I enjoy remembering that mood, and when the 1st of March arrives it`s even easier to live it again.

Bun. Acum ca am terminat cu partea mai literara (ma stiti deja cu pasiunea mea pentru scris) sa trecem la lucruri serioase. Am facut un buchet de ghiocei pe care abia am astept sa vi-l arat. Mie imi place asa de mult!!!

Ok. Now that I`m done with literary aspects (you know I enjoy writing) let`s talk about serious things. Here is a snowdrop bouquet I`ve made. I just couldn`t waited and wanted to show it as soon as possible. I`ve made it today. Quick pictures and here it is!



Mi-am dorit o vaza mai speciala pentru poze, dar nu am avut asa ca am luat ce mi-a fost la indemana. Prefer cana bej, dar imi place mult si paharul. Voua care va place mai mult?

I wanted a special vase for the pictures but didn`t have it so I used what was around. I prefer the beige pot but I admit the glass looks great too. Which one do you prefer?
