Buna tuturor :) Sunt toata un zambet si o bucurie pentru ca aceasta luna sunt guest designer pentru Scrapper in Romania.
Hello everyone :) I`m only smiles and happiness because this month I`m a guest designer for Scrapper in Romania.

Mi-a placut muuult de tot tema: Steampunk! Multumim Veronica pentru initierea in lumea steampunk.
The theme... oh the theme, I just love it: Steampunk! Thank you Veronica for initiating us.

Ann Martin m-a inspirat pentru cheie, dar am creat un design propriu, si am patinat hartia cu auriu.
Ann Martin inspired me for the key, but I did my own design and I used some gold paint to make it look like this.

Trash the dress

Buna din nou! Pentru azi am pregatit ceva foarte deosebit! Chiar daca ne-am casatorit acum doi ani, impreuna cu prietena mea Luciana am pus la cale o sesiune foto (un fel de trash the dress -chiar daca nu am prea facut praf rochia). Luciana este fotograf profesionist asa ca ne-am aranjat de-adevratelea cu coafor, machiaj si buchet. Si... am zis... sa-mi fac un buchet din flori de hartie daca tot mi-am descoperit pasiunea. In urma cu doi ani erau departe de mine ideile astea.
Asa ca... tadaaa buchetul :)

Hello again! I have something special for this post. Even if we married two years ago, together with my friend Luciana we set up a trash the dress photo session (I still call it this way even if my dress is not damaged after). Luciana makes professional photos so I went at the hairdresser, make-up artist (Iulia) and I made a paper flower bouquet. Two years ago I had no ideas about quilling, so now I couldn`t miss the opportunity. So... tadaaa the handmade bouquet :)

Si eram gata sa spun ca atat a fost. Dar nu! Mai e ceva. Scrapper in Romania are ca tema de inspiratie pentru provocare Buchetul de mireasa. Sa nu particip si eu cu minunatia aceasta? Cum sa nu?! Asa ca iata inscriu buchetul meu din flori de hartie la Provocarea 19 Scrapper In Romania Vremea nuntilor.
Mi se pare incredibil ca toata lumea care participa la provocare sa primeasca un tichet cadou de 1o lei.

Forget-me-not

Iata o felicitare simpla cu flori de nu-ma-uita pe care o inscriu la provocarea Scrapper in Romania. Ce legatura are cu tema “O noapte de vara”? Pai… eu si sotul meu ne plimbam printr-o livada vara asta si florile parca innebunisera. Era o explozie! Iar intr-un colt, mai la umbra si mai la umezeala erau niste flori de nu ma uita. Le ador! Le-am facut mai multe poze si una mi-am pus-o pe desktop. Ne-a prins seara tarziu zgaindu-ne la flori si unul la altul ;) si florile de nu ma uita mi-au ramas in suflet, ca amintire a unei seri de vara perfecte.

Here is a simple card with forget-me-not wich I enter to Scrapper in Romania challenge. What does it have in common with a summer night theme? Well… me and my husband were walking in the orchard and flowers were like mad, bloomed all around, like an explosion. Antd the forget-me not were there too. The evening came while admiring the flowers and these flowers were sticked to my heart, being from that moment the sign of a perfect summer evening .

Inspirata de natura am inceput sa lucrez la florile acestea cu gandul la un proiect amplu (un tablou…), dar au aparut alte proiecte si florile au ramas intr-o cutiuta. Acum le-am luat si le-am folosit cu gandul ca fac eu altele cand am timp si rabdare (!) de proiectul amplu.

Inspired by nature I started these quilling flowers thinking of a framed project, but other ideas turned me away and only now I`ve decided tu use them for a card, as they were resting in a box.

Are un aer asa special, ma face sa ma simt bine cand o privesc. Mi se intampla sa ma trezesc dimineata si s a-mi fie un dor nebun de proiectele mele terminate cu o zi inainte, sa le mai vad, sa le mai admir…

It has such a special look, I feel good watching it. More often I wake up in the morning eager to see the most recent finished projects…

The 3 F

Scrapper In Romania has a new challenge. There are almost 3 days and the submission is closed. So, here is the work I`ve created. It`s a new concept, framed fringed flowers (now I see the FFF!).

M-am inscris pana la urma si eu la provovarea Scrapper In Romania. Au niste premii tare tentante fetele si in plus mai e si nostalgia acetsui concurs, prima provocare la care am participat, am castigat si voucherul prin random org, a fost o nebunie de bucurie!

For this challenge the girls have chosen black and white with a little bit of turquoise. Oh... these colors are difficult!

Mi s-a parut destul de greu sa lucrez cu alb negru si un strop de turcoaz...
Ideea cu florile acestea inramate mi-a venit in timp ce lucram la un alt proiect si apoi a iesit si varianta aceasta.

I imagine this framed work on a narrow wall, from a minimalist apartment. I almost forgot to tell that the frame is from Ikea.

Husking technique flower

Hello everyone, I`m happy you liked my chandelier!
As I told you, I`m trying the husking technique, and I`m in love with it.

I played with shapes and they turned out into this flower. I thought it would fit perfect for a brooch, as a jewel for the takeaquillpill challenge. So here it is.

I`ve never thought quilling would bring so many friends and would help me become a better person with every new day. In the beggining I refused to use the techniques and the shapes I saw on other blogs as I considered this as a lack of originality, as nothing to be proud of. Now, I understood the true meaning of sharing. So I admire and appreciate all the works from the web, and I try to melt them with my own style, but I can`t help myself thinking to that first person who created a new flower, and sent it to the world. In this case I`m refering to Asma.

We are having a deep summer here, so I enjoy my balcony and the fresh evenings, I enjoy reading and blogging, and making big plans for my next quilling projects.

Chocolate and orange dream

This delicious cake is a dream... Because it`s made of paper...
I made this cake in a hurry last night, for SCRAPPER IN ROMANIA,CHALLENGE#12, where the theme is Delicious. The submission is closed in 4 hours!

I used 1 mm strips for the orange slices... so tiny and so hard to work with. I painted with white acrylic to create the image of the pulp and I also cut some paper as chocolate chips.

For the yellow tissue I used one of my special scissors and I made the holes with a needle.

Number 5

Here is the card number five, the last one from those I`ve made using my beloved red and white ribbons.

I adore quilling 'cause it allows me to create all types of flowers, flowers that exist (like these ones) in the beautiful world of fantasy.

This is my favourite card. I like the colors, the beads and the buttons.

I bought these beads from Hungary some weeks ago and are precious to me because they remind the 3 relaxing days we had there. So I enter this card to Stampin Sister in Christ where the challenge is: use something you treasure. I also treasure this red and white ribbon.

Scrapper in Romania - Challenge #11

Tema din aceasta luna pentru provocarea Scrapper in Romania este valentine neconventional: dungi. Mi-a placut din prima provocarea cu dungi si m-am tot gandit ce sa aleg. Dupa mai multe variante si schite (că, da, am inceput sa fac schite ca sa-mi fie mai limpede ce si cum trebuie sa iasa)am deliberat.
This month`s challenge for Scrapper in Romania is unconventional valentine: stripes. I loved this challenge from the first moment and I started thinking what to choose. After more options and sketches (because, yes, I`ve started to make sketches so that the ideas be more clear in my mind) I`ve chosen.
I also enter this card to incywincydesigns where the challenge is use punches or dies.

Guest designerul din aceasta luna este Meda, modesta si simpla, totusi atat de regala si fascinanta prin creatiile ei... Datorita ei imi pun problema originalitatii, a personalitatii si identitatii operei mele. Blue and Glitter

Am descoperit ieri ca inca pot participa la provocarea Scrapper in Romania. M-am pus pe lucru si am creat o felicitare de iarna cu fulgi albastri. Panglica am gasit-o la reducere chiar inainte de Craciun.

Glitterul inca nu s-a uscat, dar imi place mult cum arata asa, proaspat.

Acesti fulgi s-au nascut din greseala. Am pregatit mai multe piese pentru un altul si mi-au iesit inegale si, in joaca, le-am alaturat. Sunt tare mandra de ei.
