Cherry blossom - Work in progress

It`s March 26, my tulips wait to blossom... yet everywhere you look it`s just SNOW. I usualy take the weather exactly the way it is, without complaining, only that what`s enough it`s enough. Where are you SPRING?

Here is my little cherry tree, work in progress, as nothing is glued together. I only arranged them to see how everything looks. I thought you have to see it :)

 

E 26 martie si lalelele asteapta in gradina sa infloreasca. Totusi, peste tot in jur este numai ZAPADA. De obicei iau vremea asa cum este ea, fara sa ma plang, numai ca uneori ce e destul e destul. Unde esti tu PRIMAVARA?

Iata aici copacelul meu cu flori de cires, pe masura ce lucrez la el. Nimic nu este lipit, le-am aranjat doar sa vad cum arata si am zis ca sa vi-l arat si voua :)

First aniversary

Today is the first aniversary of my blog! An year ago, on the 4th of October I was posting my first post with some autumn quilling cards. As a remember I`ve made some cards with the same theme: autumn leaves and colours.

Here is the link of that first post, called Autumn Quilling. In this year 74 people decided to follow my blog, I have 15872 page views and 4500 visitors. I never imagined it will be this way: so great, so interesting, so fun. I`m addicted now, I love blogging and as long as there will be internet I`ll enjoy this part.

I wanted an Etsy shop for my blog`s aniversary, but couldn`t make it (even later I`ll be happy to have it!)

Time for goodies

It`s june, yeei, we can eat as many cheries we want (and can)!
I used fruits as inspiration... some cherries, some strawberries.

I love the summer, I love the sun and the good weather... I love to climb cherry trees and eat all those little red, beautiful and deliciuos fruits.

Pay it forward

Do you remember my cherry blossom card (here it is) and the contest I won? Well a few weeks ago Oana sent the gifts. I wanted to make something for her, as a pay it forward game (by the way, I love that movie!). So here is my work for her.

I decided to make something that looks like the card so I made an entire cherry blossom tree. I also have one for me and I intention to make 3 more ”quilling paintings” for the rest of the seasons.

The flowers are made of 2 mm paper strips and are painted with pink acrylic.

Yesterday Oana received the gift, she wrote so beautiful words about me and the joy she felt.

Now, I know that Oana loves the painting, I wish you like it too.

Love&Good luck

I have soo many to tell you! Remember the special contest with the Turquoise Spring theme? I am the winner at the cards section with my beautiful Cherry blossom! Thank you for your votes! They were gifts of love :)

I was soo happy when I found out! Here are the gifts Oana prepared for me.

Now, something else! I made Top 3 at Stampin Sisters in Christ. And because I had many things to do last week I didn`t have the time to check the challenges I entered my cards to. So, now I found out thanks to Antonella.
This is the Top3 card.

This Challenge #77 Top3 is a huge surprise for me because I consider myself a beginner, far away from the girls who make scrapbooking in such a professional way. But, I begin to understand that the love I put into my work comes back and brings more love.

Now, the new entry, a clover card for which I used some new children stamps I found at a local store.

E o abundență de frumusețe în jurul nostru și natura ne aduce întotdeauna în față compoziții care ne inspiră. Mai sunt și foarte mulți semeni cu o mulțime de idei pe care dacă le traducem pe limba noastră le transformăm în alte opere. Inspiratia a venit bineînțeles din copacii arămii care-și arată peste tot podoaba.

Deeper Autumn

Toamna e tot mai adâncă, vrea tot mai tare să ne pătrundă în oase cu vântul rece, dar ne amăgește cu focul frunzelor. Soarele ei firav înfrumusețează felicitările mele. Vă invit să vedeți câtă viață a dat o rază de soare culorilor. Iar toamna ce se așterne în fiecare an ne cheamă spre adâncuri. Să ne bucurăm de focul ce ne curăță calea.
