Lily of the Valley wedding invitation / Invitatie de nunnta cu lacramioare

Spring is here, or it`s almost gone?! Lily of the Valley was all over the town, at every corner, sold by old ladies or by gipsy ladies. And I love them so much that I wish they never abandon this activity :)

Nici nu mai stiu daca e primavara sau daca s-a si terminat! Cred ca ati vazut si voi tantile batrane sau femeile rrome cu lacramioare la colturi de strada. Imi plac atat de mult incat mi-as dori sa fie intotdeauna cineva cu flori de vanzare la coltul strazii :)

This season I had a special client who wanted wedding invitations with Lily of the Valley. Now, that was a challenge because I wanted something delicate and beautiful yet strong and resistant.

O clienta foarte deosebita mi-a cerut anul acesta invitatii cu lacramioare. Si a fost o mare provocare pentru ca vroiam sa creez ceva delicat si totusi rezistent.


I came up with two designs, many color combos and she chose this:
I-am propus doua modele si mai multe variatii de culoare, iar ea a ales acest model:

I`ve noticed that my clients request bring out of my head the most beautiful creations and no matter how much I create new designs, the ones that they suggest will always be the best ones!
Am observat ca propunerile clientilor mei scot din mine cele mai frumoase creatii si indiferent cat de mult creez eu singura modele noi, cele sugerate de ei sunt intotdeauna cele mai bune!

I like everything about these invitations - the green of the cardstock (a little bit pearlescent), how it goes with the ribbon, the embossing pattern, the delicate stem and of course, the delicate and beautiful lilies of the valley.
Imi place totul la invitatiile acestea - nuanta de verde a cartonului (e putin sidefat), cum se potriveste cu panglica verde, modelul embosat, tulpina delicate si bineinteles minunatele lacramioare stilizate.

I am not very active with blogging... as there are so many wonderful things happening in my life that the blog is now somewhere at the end of the list...
De multa vreme blogging-ul este in capatul listei si nu prea am activat cu postari noi... asta din cauza ca in viata mea se petrec tot felul de lucruri minunate si nu mai am timp pentru toate... dar poate si pentru ca realizand invitatii multe mi se pare ca nu e chiar atat de interesant pentru voi.

Black and red wedding invitation & table numbers / Invitatii de nunta cu rosu si negru & numere de masa

Hello again :)

During the last months wedding invitations, table numbers and money envelopes were my main activity. It was a pleasure and I want to share with you my work, hope I won`t be boring... 
This red and black sunflower wedding invitation is for a wedding from a medieval location. It`s my old design (with brown and green from here) but with other colors (black and dark red).

Dragele mele,

in ultima vreme am lucrat la invitatii de nunta, meniuri si plicuri de bani. Cam aceasta a fost principala activitate. Am mai multe poze, sper sa nu fiu plictisitoare :)
Acest model cu negru si visiniu este un model pe care l-am facut pentru o clienta care va avea nunta intr-o locatie medievala. Este o adaptare a modelului cu maro si verde de aici.

Wedding cake invitation / Invitatie de nunta cu tort

Salutare :) Imi dau seama ca folosesc in ultima vreme prea mult cuvantul nunta, dar imi plac atat de mult toate creatiile pentru nunti incat nu pot sa nu-mi imaginez aceste felicitari cu tort sub forma unor invitatii de nunta. E drept ca domeniul nuntilor reprezinta o intreaga industrie, dar ca si Craciunul, e ceva atat de frumos!!!

Hello there :) I realize that I use quite a lot the word wedding lately, but I just adore all the beatiful things that are created around this event, so that it`s imposible for me to avoid the comparison between these cards and weddin invitations. It`s true that an entire industry was created around weddings, but, like Christmas, it`s sooo beautiful!!!

Iata minunatiile pe care le-am creat. Adica o parte din ele pentru ca am facut aproape 40 - jumate cu vanilie si jumate cu ciocolata.

Here are the beaties I created. I mean a part of them since I`ve made almost 40 cards - half with a vanilla cake and half with chocolate cake.

As face anumite modificari ca sa fie potrivite pentru invitatii de nunta, dar ideea mi se pare super de tot ca si simbol.

I would change some things to make them look like wedding invitations, but the cake theme seems so great for a wedding invitation.

Invitatii de nunta cu sah / Chess wedding

Iata una dintre invitatiile tematice pe care le-am pregatit pentru Nunta la Palat de la Cluj. Georgiana de la Deco Life are niste idei super originale pentru decor! Cand mi-a spus sa fac un set de papetarie - invitatii, numar de masa si place card - cu tema sah am fost incantata. Am facut mai mult modele, am incercat si sa ilustrez piese de sah cu quilling. Iar cea cu quilling i-a placut cel mai mult! Am avut si alte idei pentru piesele de sah quilling insa mi-a trebuit ceva rapid (stiu, totul e pe repede inainte azi, poate din cauza ca vrem sa incercam mereu muuulte lucruri).

Here is one of the wedding invitations that I`ve prepared for the wedding fair I told you about. Georgiana from Deco Life has some super-mega original ideas! When she asked for a set of wedding invitation, place card and table number with chess theme I was delighted! This is not the only design, but the only one with quilling for thi theme and was the one she prefered. I had some other ides for the chess pieces but there was no time for sophisticatd things (I know, there is always little time in our days - I believe we have too many things we want to try).

Mie imi place foarte mult cum arata si decorul pune atat de frumos in evidenta creatia mea! Aici poze de aparat simplu. E aceeasi lucrare!
I like a lot the way they look and the table decorations makes everything look even more beautiful! Here you can see pictures with my camera. It`s the same work!

Imi plac mult aceste provocari. Si imi place ce iese cand mai multi oameni lucreaza impreuna!
I just love these challenges. And I also love the fruits of good co-working!

A new season of wedding invitations / Un nou sezon cu invitatii handmade

This weekend a gorgeous wedding fair took place in our town. And I was invited to design the invitations, table numbers and place-cards for a wedding decor company Deco Life. They also asked to make an album with some wedding invitation designs. It was a pleasure. For some I used quilling, for some I didn`t, but I like so much the result! So I had a full week preparing new creations. Now... I feel uncomfortable about these events. There is such a waste of materials and even if I like everything people are showing there, sometimes all I feel is I want to go away. Hope I`m not making too much ado about nothing. But this is the way I feel. Yet, wedding invitations are important, and weddings are not possible without them. And people have to find out about me... So here is the album!

In weekendul acesta a fost targul de nunti Nunta la Palat in Cluj. Superb!!! Am fost invitata sa fac invitatii, numere de masa si place carduri de catre cei de la Deco Life. Mi-au cerut si un album cu modele ca sa le arate clientilor. M-am bucurat tare! Pentru unele modele am folosit quilling, pentru altele nu, dar rezultatul este super. Am avut o saptamana plina!
Asa... mai vreau s ava spun ca ma simt cumva ciudat fata de aceste evenimente. Este asa o mare risipa de materiale si chiar daca imi place la nebunie aproape tot ce se prezinta la aceste evenimente uneori simt doar ca as vrea sa plec pur si simplu de acolo. N-as vrea sa par fandosita, dar chiar asta simt. Totusi invitatiile de nunta sunt foarte importante si oamenii trebuie sa afle despre mine. Asa ca aici este albumul!

Invitatie cu floarea soarelui / Sunflower wedding ivitation

A trecut un an de cand am facut primele invitatii de nunta si in acest timp am facut o multime de flori. Mai ales floarea soarelui! Iata inca un model pe care nu vi l-am prezentat, foarte drag mie.
It`s been an year from my first wedding invitations and during this time I`ve made a lot of flower. Especially sunflowers! Here is another sunflower quilling design which I didn`t show you. This flower is so dear to me!

Ceea ce fac imi da foarte multa satisfactie, dar uneori este atat de epuizant si de solicitant! Foarte interesant cum nimic din ceea ce facem nu este intotdeauna usor!
What I make brings so much joy, but sometimes the same work is so exhausting! Nothing is really so easy at it seems!

Si mai tineti minte floarea soarelui pe care am plantat-o in gradina? A inflorit luna aceasta :)
And, do you remember the sunflower from my garden? This month I saw its first flowers :)

Invitatii de nunta rosii / Red wedding stationery

Welcome my dear friends! For today I have these flowers I made for Oana. 225 like this. This project was a huge challenge for me from more reasons (don`t want to mention them - will make my post tooo complicate). I`ll let you watch the pictures. The wedding took place, that`s why I can show you the invitations.

Bine ati venit dragi prieteni! Pentru azi am aceste flori pe care le-am facut pentru Oana. 225 de bucati. Acest proiect a fost o provocare imensa pentru mine din mai multe motive (dar nu vreau sa le mentionez pentru ca vor face acest post prea complicat). Va las sa priviti pozele. Nunta a avut deja loc, de aceea va pot arata invitatiile.

It`s weddings season (already I`ve been guest to THREE this month!). I quite like it but they are such a time & energy consumer. Wedding invitation with purple flowers

Hello my dear ones! As I told here I am today with this new design for a wedding invitation. I believe I sold this design as a card, but I imagined it for a wedding.

Buna dragele mele! Asa cum va spuneam in ultimul post, revin acum cu un model de invitatie de nunta. Cred ca acest model s-a vandut ca si felicitare, dar cand am creat-o m-am gandit la ea ca la o invitatie pentru nunta.

You know how much I love this type of flowers, hope you like it too! Stiti cat de mult imi plac florile acestea, sper sa va placa si voua!

Cameo wedding invitation / Invitatii handmade cu camee

With every new day I feel myself closer and closer to my dreams. Trying cameo designs was something I wanted from the first moment I knew/saw cameo exist - this was during college while learning about gems. Here they are.
Cu fiecare noua zi ma simt tot mai aproape de visele mele. Sa incerc sa creez ceva folosind camee mi-am dorit inca de cand le-am vazut prima data - la facultate cand am studiat gemologie. Iata minunatiile.

These are my first designs using cameo. I believe they are very elegant and so, so perfect for a wedding invitation.
Sunt primele mele creatii cu camee. Cred ca sunt foarte elegante si atat de potrivite pentru o invitatie de nunta.

Cherry blossom (wedding)

Salutare tuturor! Se pare ca se respira mult quilling in aceste vremuri din moment ce multe dintre voi creati flori si felicitari si brose pentru martisor. La fel e si cu mine.
Pentru azi am ales o felicitare cu flori de cires (poate fi si invitatie de nunta). Ador culorile si floricele acestea mici - stiu ca stiti asta deja.
Hello there! It seems quilling is in the air all around since many of you make flowers and cards and broches for the first of March. Same for me.
For today I decided to post this cherry blossom card (or wedding invitation). I love the colors and those little flowers - I know you already know this.

The supporter of my dreams

Vara aceasta am colaborat pentru prima data cu Meda. Asa am creat mai multe variante de invitatii de nunta cu candelabru. Meda a publicat un articol despre toate acestea aici, ma simt onorata si ii multumesc pentru promovarea pe care mi-o face.
This summer I worked for the first time with Meda. So I made more wedding invitations designs having the chandelier theme. Meda wrote about this here, I feel honoured and I`m thanking her for the big promo she makes for me.

Dupa mai multe variante pe care vi le-am aratat va prezint azi varianta finala, aleasa de mireasa.
After more options (I`ve already showed you some of them) finally I show you today the invitation prefered by the bride.

Domeniul nuntilor are ceva magic, ma atrag intr-un mod irezistibil rochiile de mireasa, decoratiunile, buchetul, fiecare tema posibila... Oh!
This wedding field has something magic for me, I feel a huge attraction for the bride dresses, for the decorations, for the bouquet... for every new theme. Oh!

Chiar daca blogul meu are ca tema principala quillingul imi place sa lucrez si cu alte tehnici, stiu ca preferati lucrarile quilling de aceea voi incerca sa public mereu ceva pe aceasta tema.
Pentru aceste invitatii am folosit stampile - candelabrul nu este tiparit ci este aplicat cu o stampila (da, pe fiecare invitatie!)
Even if my blog is about quilling I enjoy usingother techniques too. I know you prefer quilling so I`ll try to have something from this field too.
For these invitations I used some silicon stamps (yes, on each one!).

Va fi un post scurt cu niste cutii grozave in care invitatiile cu quilling merg de minune. Meda m-a ajutat (si incurajat).
