Love cards

You know... Valentine`s day is coming. I`ve managed to make some cards with hearts. Red hearts. Painted stems (already a tradition for every spring) and quilled leaves.

Love them so much!



Ziua Indragostitilor se apropie. Am reusit sa fac niste felicitari cu inimioare. Inimioarea rosii. Am pictat tulpinitele (este deja o traditie ca in fiecare primavara sa fac felicitari cu tulpini pictate) si am pus frunzulite quilling.

Imi plac atat de mult!!!

Imi place foarte mult sa le fac numai ca nu sunt prea buna la pictura. Am acceptat de multa vreme ca sunt un mester cam nerabdator :)

Quilling snowflakes - day number 8

Hi there! I almost lost the number of these snowflakes days... After thinking a little bit I knew it`s number 8. This is an unusual combo - pink and turquoise for Christmas! But I thought why not?!If they are not gona sell I`ll keep them for the next year :D

I had my first quilling workshop today. It was special - I love teaching others and I love being with them and love to see what they make and how different they are and so on. My family asked why I`m doing this, I should keep this for myself, people will copy you and will compete with you. Well, first I had no idea about why I`m doing this, than I realised I just want to do this so bad - exactly how I wanted to try quilling - so why should there be a reason for everything we do? Now I have a lot of reasons but just beacuse I want to is the best reason.

Salut, salut! Mai ca am pierdut numaratoarea zilelor cu fulgi. Dupa ce m-am gandit un pic mi-am amintit ca e numarul 8. O combinatie neobisnuita - roz si turquoise pentru Craciun! Dar mi-am zis ca de ce nu? Daca nu se vand le pastrez pentru anul viitor :D

Azi am tinut primul atelier de quilling. A fost deosebit - imi place sa-i invat pe altii, imi place sa vad ce le iese, imi place sa fiu cu oamenii, imi place sa vad cat sunt de diferiti si asa mai departe. Familia m-a intrebat ca de ce vreau sa-i invat si pe altii? Ca ar trebui sa tin secret pentru mine, ca oamenii vor dori sa ma copieze. De fapt la inceput habar n-am avut de ce vreau sa fac asta, apoi mi-am dat seama ca imi doresc foarte tare - exact cum am vrut sa fac quilling - asa ca de ce ar trebui sa fie mereu un motiv serios pentru ceea ce facem? Acum am o multime de motive, dar pentru ca asa vreau eu este cel mai bun motiv.

Ribbons addicted

I love ribbons! I adore them! I am addicted, there is no cure. So, when I found these... I was happy and the same evening I started working.

The result: five cards for which I used some of these ribbons and strong base colors (they were already cut and wanted to use them). This is the first one. The rest of them in the next 4 days. 'Cause there`s never too much beauty and love...

Tulip Beauty

Hello my dear ones!
Now I am working on a quilling paint so I`ll have a break from cards. But I have pictures from the spring collection I prepared for the 1st of March. For today some tulips cards. This time I used for the stems plait paper. And a velvet ribbon as embelishment. I love the way colors combine. This is one of my favourite color combinations.

I enter this card to crazy4challenges challenge C4C76 where the theme is: use flowers on your cards.

These tulips can be done very easy. For the leaves I used two A4 paper strips rolled together, in different shades of green so that they look more natural.

And here you see some yellow and orange beauties. I think we`re all waiting for the spring to come...

Why cards?

Ador felicitarile. Este ceva pur si simplu, o dragoste infinita, o accept si ma umplu de ea pana la suprasaturatie.
I love cards. It`s something just like that, an infinite love, I accept it and I let myself breath it until overflowing.

E un semn bun ca oamenii mai cumpara felicitari. Si mai bine daca le cumpara pe cele handmade. Aici este o felicitare pentru care am folosit una din primele flori facute facute cu aceasta tehnica.
I think it`s a very good sign that people still buy cards. Even better if they buy handmade cards. Here is the card for which I used one of the first flowers made with this technique.

Cookies

Din aceeasi colectie de iarna am ales pentru azi felicitarile cu prajiturele. Nu sunt toate impecabile pentru ca am folosit pentru prima data stampilele acestea din cauciuc.

From the same winter collection I choose for today the cards with sweets. They are not all very perfect, this is because I was in a rush and because I used for the first time stamps.

Am ales prajiturelele pentru ca ele te fac sa te simti acasa, iti incalzesc sufletul si mai ales burtica. Yummy! Cum ziceau fetele: "Mmmm! Ce le-am manca. Deja salivam."

I`ve chosen the cookies because they make you feel home, they warm up your soul and tummy. Yummy! As the girls said: "Mmm! We would like to eat them."

Felicitari cu clopotei Bells Card

E 2011!!!!!!! La mulți ani!!! Îmi amintesc cât de îndepărtat ni se părea acest an când eram copii. Făcea parte dintr-o lume SF a viitorului.
Am ales pentru începutul de an felicitările cu clopoței pentru că sunetul lor aduce a veselie și a sărbătoare.

Here we are in 2011!!! Happy New Year!!! I remember how far seemmed for me this year when I was a child. It looked like SF.
I begin the New Year with my bells cards because their sound brings joy and the air of a play day.











Și preferata mea, cea cu clopoțelul poleit pentru care am folosit și panglică. Ador panglicile!

And my favourite, the one with a touch of gold for which I used ribbon too. I love ribbons!







Visez la ziua în care voi avea timp pentru toate ideile care-mi trec prin minte. Deocamdată încerc sa pastrez un ritm de lucru, sa am câte 10 felicitari pe raft în cele 2 magazine unde vând. Altfel nu știu dacă aș lucra constant.

I dream the day with enough time for all my ideas. For the moment I want to have 10 cards in the two stores where I sell. This makes me keep working.

The story

Îmi place să creez felicitări și încerc să îmi imaginez ce simte persoana care o primește.
Dar, cel mai mult îmi place ca fiecare felicitare să aibă o poveste, elementele să se lege între ele și legate să spună povestea. Încă de mică îmi imaginam o legătură între nori, între imprimeurile de pe haine, între obiecte. Totul vorbește.

Să vă spun povestea, sau e evidentă?






Această feicitare am ”preparat-o” pentru un medic. Pentru medicul care a adus-o pe lume pe Meli, fetița prietenei mele, Dana.
Tata, Mama, Copilul și... un Cățel, adică o Maia.
