Felicitare cu fulgi quilling / Quilling snowflakes card

Stiu, uneori ce-i prea mult e prea mult. Dar am promis 10 zile cu fulgi si vreau sa ma tin de cuvant. Felicitarile acestea doua fac parte dintre preferatele mele de anul acesta - imi plac culorile, imi place forma si designul si mai imi place si hartia albastra cu aspect perlat. Stiu ca e zapada peste tot acum, dar nu ma simt vinovata, toti facem fulgi in perioada aceasta, nu? Adica nu cred ca fulgii mei au adus ninsoarea.

I know, too much is too much! But I promised 10 days of projects that include snowflakes so I want to keep my word. These cards are from my favorite - I love the colors, the shape, the design and also the pearlescent blue paper. Our country is covered with snow but I do not feel gulty, we all make snowflakes around Christmas!

Quilling snowflakes - day number 8

Hi there! I almost lost the number of these snowflakes days... After thinking a little bit I knew it`s number 8. This is an unusual combo - pink and turquoise for Christmas! But I thought why not?!If they are not gona sell I`ll keep them for the next year :D

I had my first quilling workshop today. It was special - I love teaching others and I love being with them and love to see what they make and how different they are and so on. My family asked why I`m doing this, I should keep this for myself, people will copy you and will compete with you. Well, first I had no idea about why I`m doing this, than I realised I just want to do this so bad - exactly how I wanted to try quilling - so why should there be a reason for everything we do? Now I have a lot of reasons but just beacuse I want to is the best reason.

Salut, salut! Mai ca am pierdut numaratoarea zilelor cu fulgi. Dupa ce m-am gandit un pic mi-am amintit ca e numarul 8. O combinatie neobisnuita - roz si turquoise pentru Craciun! Dar mi-am zis ca de ce nu? Daca nu se vand le pastrez pentru anul viitor :D

Azi am tinut primul atelier de quilling. A fost deosebit - imi place sa-i invat pe altii, imi place sa vad ce le iese, imi place sa fiu cu oamenii, imi place sa vad cat sunt de diferiti si asa mai departe. Familia m-a intrebat ca de ce vreau sa-i invat si pe altii? Ca ar trebui sa tin secret pentru mine, ca oamenii vor dori sa ma copieze. De fapt la inceput habar n-am avut de ce vreau sa fac asta, apoi mi-am dat seama ca imi doresc foarte tare - exact cum am vrut sa fac quilling - asa ca de ce ar trebui sa fie mereu un motiv serios pentru ceea ce facem? Acum am o multime de motive, dar pentru ca asa vreau eu este cel mai bun motiv.

Ghirlanda din fulgi quilling / Quilled snowflakes garland

Here I am my dears, a little bit later with the 5th post. I`ll be short since it`s Sunday, we have guests and I have to finish an order so that I cand send it tomorrow morning.
For today, a garland I made from quilled snowflakes. I`ve put it on a tree. It can be used in many other ways to make your house brigther and prettier.

Iata-ma dragilor, din nou, un pic mai tarziu decat ar fi trebuit, cu postarea numarul 5. E o ghirlanda pe care am facut-o din fulgi quilling. Am pus-o in bradutul din curtea noastra, pentru poze. Dar poate fi folosita in multe feluri ca sa infrumuseteze si lumineze casuta in care se afla. De exemplu am agatat-o la geam (avem un geam fara perdele) si arata atat de bine!!!

Va imbratisez si LA MULTI ANI!!! de ziua noastra, a Romanilor!

Green (!) quilled snowflake / Un fulg quilling verde

Azi a fost prima zi cand am ascultat cantece de iarna (in engleza, de aceea nu le spun colinde). Si cumva incep sa simt cu adevarat ca se apropie Craciunul, ca va ninge si va fi tot mai frig. Si am inceput sa ma gandesc la bradut. Chiar daca am pregatit lucrusoare de Craciun nu am simtit spiritul. Azi a fost prima zi cu spirit :) (de Craciun, pentru ca SPIRIT este mereu in toate si in tot ce fac).

Am ales un fulg verde. E foarte socant, dar mi-am dorit eu sa incerc si unul verde sa vad cum arata. Cam singuratic saracutul si prea fantezist. Am zis ca sa vi-l arat ca e totusi simpatic.

Today, while working, I was listening to some Christmas songs. The first time for this Christmas season. And I felt that special something that appears when winter comes and Christmas is closer. Today I enetered the spirit (the spirit of Christmas beacuse the SPIRIT is everywhere around, in anything I do, always in my life).

For today a green snowflake. Quite shocking but I wanted to try and see one on green. Also quite lonely poor little one. But I told myself why not make him public since it`s cute enough.

Mai urmeaza 6 zile cu fulgi, inca una cu fulgi liberi si apoi 5 zile de felicitari cu fulgi.

Fulgi quilling albi / White quilling snowflakes

Iata si ziua 3 din maratonul de 10 zile cu fulgi. 10 zile alternativ, adica o zi da si una nu. Pentru azi am ales fulgii albi. Sunt clasici si inconfundabili. Ma gandeam ca as putea face fulgi tot anul... As avea oare unde sa vand atatia?! Cine stie?

Imi place sa cred ca modelul din poza aceasta l-am creat eu. Dar cu fulgii niciodata nu poti fi sigur! Fie descoperi ca mai erau modele ca si ale tale, chiar daca le-ai creat fara inspiratie... fie peste un devin atat de populari ca nu mai stii de unde au pornit.

Here is day 3 from the marathon of 10 days with snowflakes. 10 days meaning one day I post, one day I take a break. And after that I post again. Classic white quilled snowflakes for today. Sometimes I believe I could make snowflakes during the entire yaer... But where could I sell so many snowflakes?! Who knows?

I like to believe that the one from the first picture is my own design. But you can never know with quilled snowflakes! Sooner or later you`ll discover that long time ago your design was famous before you even imagine it... or they become so pupular that no one knows where they started.

Blue quilling snowflakes / Fulgi de Craciun albastri

Buun... Sa zicem ca trebuia sa postez mai repede ca sa ma incadrez in ziua de ieri. Daar... a fost duminica! Si ne-am dat cu bicicletele si n-am reusit decat acum sa ma asez cateva clipe ca sa scriu.

Am ales fulgii albastri. Imi place asa de mult cum arata pe lemnul acela gri, cumva invechit. Cu cat lucrez mai mult cu atat imi apare mai clar stilul meu - cumva vintage-rustic-shabby chic.

Am facut acesti fulgi din fasii de 3mm, lungi de 30 cm si am folosit diferite nuante de albastru. Arata asa de dragut toti, la gramada :)

Well... Let`s say that I had to post this earlier, it`s already Monday here. But it was a sunny Sunday today!

I choose these blue quilled snowflakes for today. I love the way they look on that grey wood. The more I work, the more I feel my stile - somehow vintage, rustic, shabby chic.

I used 3mm strips, 30 cm long in different shades of blue. They look so cute, all together :)
